Cloud migration services with a rehearsed cutover and a way back. Cloud migration services for apps and databases: move from on-prem or shared hosting to AWS, Azure or a VPS, or back out, with rehearsed cutover and rollback.
Our cloud migration services move running software from where it is today to where it should be: from an office server or shared hosting to AWS, Azure or a VPS, between clouds, or out of the public cloud when the bill no longer makes sense. Every migration starts with an inventory, is rehearsed on a copy of real data, and ends with a cutover window agreed in advance, a rollback plan and documentation for the new setup.
Why teams call us about a migration. The app has outgrown its hosting Shared hosting or an ageing office server cannot handle current traffic, background jobs or the database size, and there is no room to grow.
Nobody knows everything that runs there Cron jobs, email relays, hard-coded IP addresses and forgotten subdomains live on the old server, and any one of them can break after a move.
Downtime is not acceptable The system is used every day by staff, students or patients, so a weekend-long outage or lost data during the switch is off the table.
The cloud bill stopped making sense Steady workloads are paying for managed services and data transfer they do not need, and a VPS or your own hardware would run them for less.
What a migration with us covers. Discovery and inventory A list of every application, database, scheduled job, domain, certificate, mail setting and integration on the current setup, including the ones nobody wrote down.
Target design and sizing Instance types, networking, storage and managed services chosen for your measured usage, with a monthly running cost estimate before anything is built.
Infrastructure build The new environment set up with Docker, NGINX or Traefik, TLS certificates, firewall rules and access control, written down so it can be rebuilt.
Data migration PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB moved with dumps or replication, file storage synced with rsync or to S3-compatible storage, and row counts and checksums compared afterwards.
Rehearsal and testing At least one full dry run on a copy of production data, timed, so the real cutover window is based on numbers rather than hope.
Cutover and rollback DNS TTLs lowered days ahead, a short write freeze, a final data sync, smoke tests, and the old system kept intact until you sign off.
Pipelines and monitoring Deploys pointed at the new environment through GitHub Actions or your existing CI, with uptime checks, alerts and backups in place from day one.
Decommissioning Old servers, storage and accounts shut down only after a final backup and your approval, so you stop paying for both setups.
Engagement options Migration assessment A short review for teams deciding whether, where and when to move before committing to a project.
Inventory of the current setup Target options with running cost estimates Risks, dependencies and downtime estimate A written migration plan you can act on Full migration A fixed-scope project where we plan, rehearse and carry out the move, then hand over the new environment.
Target environment built and documented Data migration with verification Rehearsed cutover with rollback plan Hand-over session and post-move support period Migrate and manage The full migration followed by a monthly retainer where we keep running the new environment for you.
Everything in the full migration Patching, backups and restore tests Monitoring, alerts and incident response Coverage hours and response times agreed in the retainer How it works Inventory We get read access to the current servers, list what runs there and measure CPU, memory, disk and traffic over a normal week.
Plan and estimate You receive a written plan with the target design, running costs, the migration order, the expected downtime and the rollback steps.
Build and rehearse We build the new environment in your account, migrate a copy of production data, test the application and time every step.
Cut over and hand over We switch traffic in the agreed window, watch the system closely afterwards, then decommission the old setup and hand over the documentation.
Why Infigini We run what we build We run our own products, TechLogHub and EasySiteControl, in production, and we keep looking after client servers after a move rather than handing over and disappearing.
No preferred destination We are not tied to one provider. If a single VPS, Lightsail or your own hardware suits the workload better than a larger cloud setup, we say so in writing.
Developers do the move The engineers migrating your system also write application code, so hard-coded paths, session storage and file uploads get fixed rather than worked around.
You own the result The new environment, credentials, configuration and runbooks live in your accounts and repositories, not ours.

Frequently asked questions What do cloud migration services include? A migration covers everything needed to move a working system without losing data: an inventory of what runs today, a design for the target environment, building it, moving databases and files, testing on a copy of real data, the cutover itself, and shutting down the old setup. With us it also includes documentation of the new environment and a short support period after the move.
How much downtime will a cloud migration cause? For most business applications we plan a window of minutes to a few hours, usually out of hours. The figure comes from the rehearsal, where we time the final data sync and switch. Where even that is too long, we use database replication so the final step is a short write freeze. You get the expected downtime in writing before the cutover date is set.
Can you move us from shared hosting or an office server to AWS or Azure? Yes. Shared hosting and office servers usually hide cron jobs, mail settings and hard-coded paths, so the inventory step matters most here. We list every scheduled task, mailbox setting and integration before choosing the target. We also check whether a full AWS or Azure setup is needed at all, since a single VPS or Lightsail instance is often enough for a small application.
Can you help us move off the cloud to a VPS or our own servers? Yes. Repatriation makes sense for steady, predictable workloads where managed services and data transfer make up much of the bill. We compare the real running costs, including the work of maintaining servers yourself, and plan the move the same way as any other migration. AWS and Azure both offer, on request, a waiver of data transfer charges for customers moving their data out, and we check whether you qualify before the move.
How do you make sure no data is lost during the migration? We take a full backup before anything changes and test that it restores. After each data copy we compare row counts, file counts and checksums between old and new. During the cutover writes to the old system are stopped before the final sync, so nothing is written to two places. The old system stays intact until you confirm the new one is correct.
How long does a cloud migration take? A single application with one database is often a matter of weeks from inventory to cutover. Larger estates with several applications, integrations and large data volumes take longer and are usually moved in stages, one system at a time. The written plan gives you a timeline for each stage before work starts.
How are cloud migration services priced? Migrations are quoted as a fixed price after the assessment, based on the number of applications and databases, data volume, the downtime you can accept and how much needs fixing along the way. Ongoing management afterwards is a fixed monthly retainer. Tell us what you run today and where you want it, and we will send an estimate.
Do we need to change our application code to migrate? Usually only a little. Common changes are moving file uploads to object storage, reading configuration from environment variables instead of files, and removing hard-coded IP addresses or paths. We list these in the plan and can make the changes ourselves, since the same team writes application code.
