AI workflow automation for the documents your team retypes. AI workflow automation with n8n and LLMs: extract data from documents, draft reports, route requests and approvals. Self-hosted, logged and owned by you.
We build automations that take the repetitive reading and typing out of your team's day. Incoming documents are parsed and checked, reports are drafted from your own data, and requests are classified and sent to the right person or system. We use n8n to orchestrate each step and a language model only where judgement on text is needed. Every run is logged, a person approves anything that leaves the building, and the workflows run in your accounts.
Work we are usually asked to automate. Staff retype documents into systems Invoices, forms, applications and emailed PDFs are read by a person and keyed into an ERP, CRM or spreadsheet by hand.
Reports take days to assemble Someone pulls figures from three systems every week, pastes them into a template and writes the same commentary again.
Requests land in one shared inbox Support, sales and internal requests arrive together, and sorting them depends on whoever happens to be checking that morning.
An AI pilot never reached production A prompt worked well in a demo, but nobody built the error handling, logging, review step or cost limits it needed to run daily.
What we build. Document extraction PDFs, scans, emails and forms turned into structured fields, validated against a schema and your own rules before anything is written to a system.
Report drafting Scheduled workflows that query your databases or APIs, then have a model write the summary in your format for a person to check and send.
Classification and routing Incoming emails, tickets and form submissions tagged by type, urgency and owner, then created as tasks in the tool your team already uses.
Approval steps Human-in-the-loop checkpoints by email, Slack, Teams or a simple web page, so drafts and low-confidence results wait for a decision.
System integrations Connections to your ERP, CRM, helpdesk, storage and messaging through their APIs or webhooks, with retries when a service is down.
Model choice and cost controls Azure OpenAI, OpenAI or a local model per step, with token limits, caching and usage reports so spend stays predictable.
Logging and error handling Each run recorded with its inputs and outputs, a dedicated error workflow, and alerts when something fails or confidence drops.
Hosting and hand-over n8n deployed with Docker and PostgreSQL on your server or cloud account, backed up, with workflows exported to your repository.
Engagement options Automation pilot A fixed-scope project for one workflow, built and measured on real documents before you commit to more.
Process walkthrough with the people who do it One workflow built on staging Accuracy check on a sample of real inputs Written results and a recommendation Automation build A fixed-scope project to put several workflows into production and hand them to your team.
n8n hosting in your account Workflows with approvals and error handling Integrations with your existing systems Documentation and a hand-over session Automation retainer A monthly arrangement where we run your workflows and add new ones as needs change.
Monitoring of runs and failures n8n and model version upgrades Prompt and rule changes as your process changes Response times agreed in the retainer How it works Map the process We sit with the people doing the work, collect sample documents and write down each step, decision and exception.
Pick what to automate We separate the steps plain rules can handle from the ones that need a model, and agree what a person must still approve.
Build and test on real inputs Workflows are built on staging in two-week increments and checked against a set of real documents with known correct answers.
Run alongside, then switch The automation runs next to the manual process until results match, then takes over with logging and alerts in place.
Why Infigini We run n8n and LLMs ourselves TechLogHub's content ingestion runs on n8n with OpenAI and local models through LM Studio, so we maintain these workflows on our own product.
Built into real systems We also build ERPs, CRMs and portals, so automations write to your systems through proper APIs rather than brittle screen scraping.
Models only where they help Dates, totals and lookups are handled by code and rules. A model is used for reading and writing text, which keeps runs cheaper and easier to check.
You own the workflows n8n, credentials, prompts and logs live in your accounts, and workflow exports are kept in your repository from the first week.

Frequently asked questions What is AI workflow automation? It is a normal business workflow, such as processing an invoice or answering a request, where a language model handles the steps that involve reading or writing text. The rest is ordinary automation: triggers, API calls, database writes and approvals. In our builds n8n runs the sequence, the model extracts, classifies or drafts, and a person signs off on anything with consequences.
Which tasks are worth automating first? Start with work that is frequent, follows a recognisable pattern and is easy to check. Extracting fields from documents of a known type, sorting a shared inbox and drafting a recurring report are good first candidates. Work that happens a few times a month, or where a wrong answer is costly and hard to spot, usually is not. We help you rank candidates during discovery.
Why n8n instead of Zapier or Make? n8n can be self-hosted, so documents and credentials stay on your own servers, and it has built-in nodes for language models, code steps and webhooks. Self-hosting also avoids per-task pricing on high-volume workflows. Zapier or Make can suit small, simple flows that already work for you. n8n uses the fair-code Sustainable Use Licence, which covers internal business use but not reselling n8n as a hosted service, so we check your plans against it.
How accurate is AI document extraction? It depends on the documents, so we measure it rather than promise a figure. During the pilot we run the workflow on a set of your real documents with known correct answers and report how many fields came out right. Outputs are validated against a schema and business rules, and anything that fails a check or looks uncertain is sent to a person instead of being written automatically.
Can our data stay private? Yes, within the choices you make. n8n can run on your own server or private network. For the model you can use Azure OpenAI in your own Azure subscription, OpenAI's API, or a local model served through LM Studio so text never leaves your infrastructure. We explain the trade-off between local model quality and hosted models for your specific documents.
How is an AI automation project priced? A pilot or build is quoted at a fixed price once we have mapped the process and seen sample documents. The price depends on the number of workflows, the systems they connect to and how much review logic is needed. Model usage is billed by the provider to your account. Retainers are a fixed monthly fee based on the workflows we run and the support you need.
What happens when a workflow fails or the model gets it wrong? Failures trigger an error workflow that retries where it is safe, records the run and alerts the owner. Wrong answers are caught by schema checks, business rules and the approval step before they reach your systems. Because every run is logged with its input and output, we can trace a bad result, adjust the prompt or rule, and re-run it.
Do we need a developer to maintain it afterwards? Not for everyday changes. n8n's visual editor lets a technical member of your team adjust routing rules, recipients or prompts, and we document each workflow. Changes to integrations, hosting or upgrades are easier with a developer, which is what our retainer covers if you do not have one in-house.
